April 23, 2011-- With an audience of 8-10 million people watching, Hadassah International Ambassador and Actress Veronica Ferres won 250,000 euro on a German quiz show and announced that she would donate half her winnings to the new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Hadassah Hospital-Ein Kerem.

In cooperation with the Shimon Peres Center for Peace, Hadassah Germany hosted a black-tie dinner dance in June honoring Humanitarian and Entrepreneur Ghini Zaidman, and raising thousands of euros in support of the Hadassah University Medical Center’s treatment for Israeli and Palestinian children suffering from cardiac diseases.
