    Hadassah International is a humanitarian organization spanning five continents, comprised of men and women of all faiths and nationalities who support the Hadassah Medical Center,a premier facility of healing, teaching, and research in Jerusalem. Through the universal language of medicine, we build bridges to nations by initiating and hosting symposia where Hadassah's health care professionals share their expertise. We also help to establish cooperative research and clinical ventures between Hadassah and medical and scientific institutions around the world.

     

    Globally renowned for treating all patients with compassionate care regardless of ethnicity or religion, the Hadassah Medical Center is a world-class medical institution, which was nominated for the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize. Despite terror and turmoil within Israel’s borders, Hadassah continually reaches out to countries everywhere with emergency relief, clinical training, and research breakthroughs. Patients from around the world seek out Hadassah’s two hills of healing in Ein Kerem and on Mount Scopus for their innovative medical procedures. By increasing awareness about the Hadassah Medical Center, Hadassah International enhances the reputation of Israel as the home of a pioneering medical center that shares its pacesetting expertise with the world.
     

     

    Reaching Out and Raising Funds
    To raise funds for the Hadassah Medical Center, Hadassah International units sponsor diverse and dynamic events: concerts with prestigious musicians, film and opera premieres, disco parties, art auctions and viewings, World Wide Walks, elegant luncheons, and gala dinners.
     
     
    Our Mission

    Hadassah International, a volunteer network of dedicated men and women of all faiths and nationalities, was founded on the principle that advancement and cooperation in medicine and science transcend politics, religion, and national boundaries. Established in 1983, Hadassah International currently spans the five continents of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australasia. Its mission is to:

    • Enhance the image of Israel through the work of the Hadassah Medical Center.
    • Provide support for the Hadassah Medical Center so that it remains an academic center of excellence for healing, teaching, and research.
    • Serve as a bridge to nations through medicine.
