ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of HADASSAH INTERNATIONAL NEW ZEALAND INC

Time: 4.30pm (until approximately 6pm)
Venue: Albert House, Shalom Court, 169a St Johns Road, Meadowbank

Our guest speakers will be the recipients of the 2009 inaugural Valda Knight Memorial Scholarship, Dr Ronald Ma and Dr Benjamin Sedley.

Dr Ma’s particular interest is in immigrant health and well-being, and his work in New Zealand has synergies with Hadassah in providing services for migrant people. He has a Doctorate in community-based mental health interventions for Asian immigrants and refugees. Dr Sedley is a Senior Clinical Psychologist for the Child and Adolescent Mental Helath Service, Capital and Coast District Health Board. He has a PhD in Psychology, examining children’s understandings of mental health.

Both Dr Ma and Dr Sedley will be talking about their experiences at Hadassah and in Israel.

Light refreshments will follow the meeting.
